1. Among the locations, which one has the least availability of materials? Why?
2. Among the possible artworks that you can create, which one do you think is the most feasible or possible? Why?
D. Abstraction The learner will perform real life tasks identified in the module. (see p. 18)
Anyone can be an artist. You just have to put your resourceful and creative potential into good use. Create something from anything.
A. Preparation:
1. Take a walk around your house and yard. Look for some unused or discarded materials like metal, wood, plastic, paper, even dried
leaves, branches, pebbles and small rocks.
2. Gather them together and do some cleaning of these materials as you deem it appropriate then look for a good work place.
3. Think of a sculptural artwork that can be made from these materials. Use your limitless imagination.
4. Using commercial paste or homemade paste (made from cooked cornstarch), glue, tapes, leftover paint or watercolor, create an
art work at the time frame specified by your teacher.
E. Application After creating your artwork, copy and answer this on a separate sheet of paper.

To further enrich learners’ knowledge, skills and attitude/values (KSAVs) they will be performing Additional Activities. (See p. 21)
Contemporary photography can be portrayed as a photograph that was taken from our own time. It is a spontaneous and dynamic
view of photography from a simultaneous instance in time. Contemporary photography captures or gives back to the viewer a
conceived idea about our present-day world.
1. With the use of your mobile phone camera, take pictures inside or around your house at any time of the day.
2. Make sure that the subject of the picture, that is, the thing, place, object or person that you want to take a picture of, is something
or someone that will evoke some degree of interest and emotion from the viewer.
3. Take several pictures that will serve as your choices for the final three pictures that you deem are the best.
4. After choosing you three best pictures, think of a title and compose a brief description and reflection about them.
5. Present these top three choices with your write up by sending it to your teacher or if possible print it in a short bond paper.
