Program Title: SCHOOL-BASED GAD TRAINING FOCUSED ON CYBER ATTACK

Program Description: The training purpose is to enhance awareness among teachers to enable them
to be more committed and responsive to issues to eliminate gender bias.

Rationale:
Anchored to Proclamation No. 227 s. 1988 declaring the first week of March each year as Women’s week and March 8
as Women’s Right and International Peace Day. Malao-a/Calantas Elementary School will be conducting a training on
April 7, 2022 regarding the NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH CELEBRATION with the Theme: Agenda ng
Kababaihan Tungo sa Kaunlaran.It will be a celebration of women exercising their choices, taking chances to make
their voices heard, and benefitting from and trailblazing changes. It is a celebration of Filipino women’s power to take
the narrative, raise priority issues that matter to them, and call for concrete actions.
Objectives:
a. Present and discuss good practices, gaps, challenges, and commitments in pursuing gender and
development (GAD),
b. to strengthen implementation of the Magna Carta of Women
c. Recognize ones’ role in improving school practices on Gender and Development
