FINAL EXAMINATION- PART 2

GE 101- Understanding the Self

“In Process”

Being a college student who takes this course while having low analytic skills and being
ignorant when it comes to arithmetic is really difficult for me and causes me to have a
mental breakdown, but I managed to get through the first semester with this subject and
learnt a lot. Completing numerous activities/projects while also taking exams has helped
me recognize my skills and shortcomings not just as a student, but also as a potential CPA.
When I finished the activities, I was surprised by a number of things, including my
management abilities. The numerous actions in this subject definitely helped me grasp and
realize my position. What I'm good at and what I need to improve on. Despite my
challenging challenges, I learned that I am not readily diverted from them. I also learned
that I had an easy time connecting with people, adapting to their needs, and forming
relationships with them. In addition, I am capable of completing a task successfully and
efficiently. On the other hand, some of my flaws include being quickly distracted from my
activities or tasks when people start chatting to me or talking loudly while I'm working.
It was difficult for me to identify my strengths. I am not a quick learner or understander of
concepts. Nonetheless, I determine what my strengths and weaknesses are. This semester,
we examined a variety of themes in this subject. One of my significant assets is my ability to
better regulate my emotions or mental breakdowns, as well as my critical thinking skills,
which will aid me in overcoming the challenges of my course. This is relevant to the issue
we addressed in this subject. The Self as a Cognitive and Psychological Construct. The
psychological theories and notions that shape people's perceptions of themselves.
Understanding the self-entailed a variety of self, identity, and personality ideas. To improve
self-awareness and self-understanding, apply self-concepts in one's life.
The final strength I'd like to discuss is my ability to accomplish and complete tasks fast and
effectively. Once I've figured out how to do something, I prefer to look out methods to make
it easier and faster so I can accomplish more in less time. At work, the way I do things now
is not the same as it was when I first started. I modified the way I do things and am now
able to complete some tasks much more quickly than before. It's necessary to have
numerous strengths, yet everyone, including myself, has flaws. The first flaw I'd like to
discuss is my tendency to be a very open and accepting person. This has both advantages
and disadvantages. This trait, I suppose, would be a disadvantage. I am a pleasant,
considerate, and sympathetic individual. As a result, it's tough for me to say no when
someone asks for a favor; I always say yes.
My ability to coach people is my second flaw. I dislike telling people what to do, and I know
that I dislike being told what to do as well. Coaching would play a significant influence in
my future career if I were to reach a high level in my current profession. This subject
assisted me in identifying my strengths and limitations. A successful student possesses a
wide range of qualities. Taking on multiple tasks each week helped me gain a better
understanding of myself. I used the tasks' strengths to figure out what kind of student and
person I am. My main objective for the future is to be more open and social with others,
despite the fact that I am quite reclusive at school and only socialize with a few people. This
has to change as a business major. When I graduate and acquire a career, I know I'll have to
deal with a lot of people every day, and maybe even give presentations. This subject
assisted me in forming and setting personal goals for myself to achieve before graduating.
