 ABSTRACT

The Project report deals with the research topic "A STUDY ON RETAIL PRODUCTS OF AGVB (ASSAM
GRAMIN VIKASH BANK) WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIZE TO PERSONAL/CAR/HOUSING LOAN”.
The Project aims at analysing the financial growth of the branch for the last three years; to study and identify
its various Loans and Advances of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank; to calculate and find the proportion of
different loans to the total loans. The study is analytical in nature; the study is done for the period of three
accounting years respectively from 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. The main purpose of this
research is to study the process of sanctioning a loan to customer (with special reference to
personal/car/housing loan). To identify the branch technique on how to increase the Net Income and reduce
the NPA level of the Bank, while issuing loans. Also, the major portion of the Income is derived from the
loans and advances of the Bank
 It is a specific type of research that involves critical thinking skills and the evaluation of facts and
information relative the research being conducted. There were certain limitations as well, as the banks didn’t
provide any primary source of data so mostly all the method of data collection is based upon Secondary data
collection. Also the main priority of this bank is to deal with

OBJECTIVES-
1. To study the financial growth of the branch for the last three years.
2. To study the various loans and advances of AGVB (Assam Gramin Vikash Bank).
3. To study the process of sanctioning a loan to customer (with special reference to
personal/car/housing loan).
