I. TITLE: SCHOOL-BAED OVERNIGHT CAMP

V. LEGAL BASES:

Circular No.9 of Pangasinan I RE: Scouting Month

VI. RATIONALE :

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 1326, s. 1974, October of every

year is the celebration of the National Scouting Month. For this year
celebration, Pangasinan Council prepare the following suggested activities
for an OVERNIGHT or TROOP CAMP for Junior, Senior and Cadet Girl
Scouts and for TWINKLERS PLAYDAY & STARS GATHER_IN for
Twinklers and Star Scouts.

The activities for Twinklers and Star Scouts could be held on Friday and
for Overnight or Troop Camp could start on Friday afternoon and end on
Saturday. Troops will choose their schedule in any Fridays and Saturdays
of the month as long as participation on the said event shall be subject to
the no-disruption-of classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order (DO No. 9, s.
2005-Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and
Ensuring Compliance and strict implementation of safety and security
protocols for all participants before, during and after the activity.

In this regard, Urbiztondo Integrated School will conduct overnight camp

on October 28-29, 2022. attached are details, guidelines/reminders and

suggested activities which focuses on the theme to enable girls build

confidence and self-esteem, learning important life and leadership skills,
outdoor adventure, to experience living in an outdoor and nature which
offers an instant digital detox to our young girls.

VII. OBJECTIVES:

1. Aims to help young girls to explore leadership and build

skills (preparing meals, setting up tents, and cleaning
their campsite and spending time with mentors that model
positive behaviors)
2. To practice teamwork, communication, and collaboration
through team-building challenges
3. Enable young girls build confidence and self-esteem

 Registered GSP learners of Urbiztondo Integrated School from Grade 7-

12
 Troop leader from Junior High School and Senior High School of

learners of our school.

Rest assured that we are going to observe the minimum health and safety protocol set forth
by IATF during the conduct of the scouting.
