Narrative Report
Academic Festival for Talents and Skills 2022-2023

The month of November was set to nurture the minds and skills of every students in
Pantar National High School to accentuate the first ever Academic Festival with the theme
“Gearing up the next Pantarian wizards through talents and skills for Sustainable Inclusive
Education.” The theme itself tells us that every student has their own talents and skills that
deserves to be develop and sustain in an all-in education.

Preparations of the program, tarpaulins, sound system and decoration of the stage was
done and managed by the YES-O officers with the guidance of their adviser, Ma’am Nasrifah
D. Abdulazis.
Teachers and staffs actively conducted a two-day event because the students hadn’t
experienced this kind of event since the pandemic has begun. Prior to the event, the students
were divided into 30 groups from grade 7 to grade 12 where the leaders of each group were
selected from Grade 12 senior high school in different strands (STEM, ABM, GAS, HE, and
ICT). The chosen leaders were given the tasks to lead and disseminate the different activities
to his/her members.

The event started with a parade where each group showcase their ostentatious flags
and banners together with their chants. After the parade, we had our opening program led by
every Subject Coordinator and our School Head Sir Camarodin U. Muto. After the opening
program, the different subjects started the Day 1 activities where the leaders disseminate their
members to represent their groups in each activity. The Day 2 event was the continuation of
the program as well as the activities simultaneously conducted with the other activities of
each subject areas.

In this Academic Festival students are recognized with their academic and non-
academic standing, a demonstration of their love of learning, and they have shown their
exemplary attitude and behavior. Some will lead as an example while others will be
determined to learn, no matter the obstacles. School administrations will find great pride in
discovering numerous ways students should be recognized.
