Participants: Teachers and Students
Description: Science month is not just a “celebration” but it is
about showcasing the talents and skills of every student in terms
of innovation and discovery. This also enables students to enjoy
science concepts and to engage them on scientific issues.
Objectives: The following were the specific objectives of the conduct of the
activity:
a. aims to provide a venue for interaction of science clubs and
recognize excellence through workshops and friendly
competitions
b. aims to provide learning experiences that will increase the
learner's 21st century skills in Science

RESULTS: The identified objectives and targets for the activity were met.
a. Conducted the science month celebration while adhering to
minimum public health standard based on policies and
guidelines of the IATF; and
b. Facilitated-well the activities by the teachers and the
students engaged in several exercises like: Spelling bee,
Science Quiz Bee, Poster Making, Slogan Making,
HIMALANDROG-SEVEN HILLS INTEGRATED

c. Learned things, participated-well, and prepared students
would be done during the celebration of Science Month
2022 Culminating Activities.
Participants’ Active involvement of participants were evident during the Science

Feedback Month Culmination 2022. Reactions and comments were
entertained during the post evaluation of the committee members.
Suggestions were properly considered.
Methodology
The said activity was divided into three parts. The first part was
the preliminary activities in which teachers had an orientation
about relevant and timely issues encountered by students such as
Early pregnancy discussed by Janica Becoñado, Ariel Alvarez
gave voice to Enviromental Issues, Wilson Tarrayo spoke up with
HIV awareness and Ma. Irene Paghunasan in First AIDS. Clean
Up drive was also conducted in order for everyone to come up
together to help the environment and community. The second part
of the activity were the different competition which was guided by
the different teachers both Elementary and Secondary
Department. The last part was the awarding and closing program
in which the students were recognized by their continuous
participation in different activities.
Management of the Activity
The activity was conducted every 4:00 in the
afternoon of 21st to 23rd of September. The head
coordinators of Elementary Department, Janice
Belano and Secondary Department, Wilson Tarrayo
assigned different focal persons for the various
activities to make sure that everything will go
smoothly.

As we are conducting the said activities, we were complacent and
followed the IATF guidelines and DOH’s minimum health and
safety standards.
Logistics Arrangements
The Science Month Activities was spearheaded by Wilson Tarrayo
Secondary Science Coordinator and Janice Belano for
Elementary Science Coordinator together with the co-
coordinators, Ariel Alvarez and Janica Becoñado as well as the
teachers and students to take part of the massive support in the
said activity.
