Class Project Description


We will be studying minerals and rocks this 1st Quarter and for
you to apply your knowledge and observe how we interact with
them on an everyday basis you will be designing a research
album.

The Research Album will be regarding the most common uses


for the minerals and rocks studied in class, identify each one of
them at home, take pictures (selfie with the object), and
describe their location.

Project Rules
1. Project will be elaborated individually or in pairs.
2. Creativeness and originality must be applied in the construction of the album.
3. Work will be done at home not at school. (Progress Reports will be developed as class
time consultation with the teacher.)
4. Follow the list of Minerals and Rocks provided. If there are minerals and rocks hard
to find notify the teacher for assistance.
5. Progress Report Sessions:
a. Monday September 18, 2020
b. Tuesday October 5, 2020
6. Final Presentation Monday October 14th-2020.
