Integrating Quotes

Directions: Earlier in this lesson, you found three direct quotes that you might use in your

research report. First, copy and paste each of your direct quotes into the spaces below.

Then, write a paragraph for each direct quote, integrating that quote smoothly into a

summary of the source. (You can copy and paste text from your previous worksheet to help

you get started.)

“When sunlight passes through raindrops, the light bends, or refracts, as it

enters the droplet, and then re ects o the inside of the raindrop.”
