PERFORMANCE TASK NO. 1


Overview of Marketing Management

Marketing is the process of getting potential clients or customers to become interested in your
products and services. It simply means that through marketing, your customers become aware
of your products and services, engage in them, and help them make the buying decision.

In this task, we will assess your basic knowledge of marketing and your creativity as a future
manager.

A. What is the task about?

A company is hiring a marketing manager and you are applying for the job. During the job
interview, the company's general manager asks you to stand in front and market yourself. You
are applying for the position of marketing manager and it is a must that you have the skills in
marketing.

B. How will you do it?

Compose a written speech marketing yourself for the job. Your speech may contain the answers
to the following guide questions:

I'll bring to your business my special brand of visionary abilities. I'll remember the
company's present objectives, such as raising sales. I'll contribute to raising a previous
company's sales rate. My experience in sales and my ability for planning will guide in
that expansion.including marketing techniques for better collaboration. I came up with
plans to enhance teamwork and coordination in group projects. I can contribute ideas
from my former employer as well as my overall motivation for innovation to your
company.

2. How will you satisfy your customers' or recruiter's needs and wants?
Customers fully understand what our product does and how it benefits them. The
major strategy to effectively target marketing efforts is to invest the time necessary to
thoroughly investigate and comprehend how you assist customers. The finest
outcomes in sales are produced by proper targeting. refers to customers who are
uninformed of their needs or your goods. They have a better understanding of how
your issue addresses the need.

3. What is your added feature that has a superior value compared to the others?
Productivity is the capacity to manufacture an item or service more profitably
than others, which increases profit margins. The less expensive of any very few
alternatives supplied will be picked by logical customers. Products or services stand out
from those of competitors and are seen to be better. Differential advantage is sustained
by better employees, patent-protected goods or processes, cutting-edge technology, and
strong brand recognition. Wide margins and substantial market shares are supported by
these variables.

Creativity in Presenting - 10 points
Grammar and usage - 10 points
