INSPECTION PROCEDURE [ ENGINE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM : Certification ECU Power
Source Circuit ]

1. INSPECT FUSE (SECURITY)

a. Remove the SECURITY fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

b. Measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard resistance:

Below 1 Ω

NG : REPLACE FUSE

OK: Go to next step

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - BATTERY)

a. Disconnect the P33 ECU connector.

b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in TERMINAL CONNECTION SPECIFIED


CONDITION TABLE .

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

P33-1 (+B1) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - BODY GROUND)

a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TERMINAL CONNECTION


SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE .

NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE


INSPECTION PROCEDURE [ ID Code Box Power Source Circuit ]

1. INSPECT FUSE (SECURITY)

a. Remove the SECURITY fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

b. Measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard resistance:

Below 1 Ω

NG: REPLACE FUSE

OK: Go to next step

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ID CODE BOX - BATTERY)

a. Disconnect the J69 ECU connector.

b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in TERMINAL CONNECTION SPECIFIED

a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TERMINAL CONNECTION

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)

a. Disconnect the P33 certification ECU connector.

b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

Engine switch ON (ACC) 10 to 14 V

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
