2. Describe what you believe Free Will to be. How does Free Will impact on the moral/ ethical
decisions that you make? Relate free will to the philosophers studied in class and illustrate how
all three incorporate free will.

3. Define a cult. How does a cult differ from a religion? Using one cult and one religion
studied this year and compare and contrast the two. How are they different and the same?

4. Select a developmental theorist (Freud or Erikson) and explain how that theorist’s
developmental concept or stages impacts on the moral decisions YOU make. Make a personal
connection between yourself (your own moral decision) and the theorist.

5. (Numeracy) The Baha’i calendar has 19 months with 19 days, our civil calendar has 12
months with 30 (or so) days. What impacts would living by a Baha’i calendar have on:
a) You personally;
b) Society as a whole; and
c) Christianity.

Using the information learned from Dante’s Inferno (the 9 circles of hell) and using one of the
philosophers studied in class, explain in a series of linked paragraphs, which circle you think has
the worst offenders in society.

In your reflection you should:


 Make reference to a specific circle from Dante’s poem;
 Explain why that circle has the worst offenders;
 Include connections to one of the philosophers studied (Aristotle, Kant, Levinas, Hobbes,
Locke, Erikson or Freud); and
