1.

How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact the learning of the
students going to school? What are your conclusions?

School campuses and classrooms are made to emphasize the value of education. School
in particular is one of the greatest homes since it can assist children in studying. The
classroom is very significant and may segregate the learners based on their level.
Additionally, schools are excellent places to learn how to study more effectively as well
as how to improve one's behavior, morals, and character as a student that’s why in
order to emphasize and provide not just a classroom wherein students can learn,
teachers are making it sure that it is also a welcoming environment to the students
wherein decor linked to a teacher's subject is employed and is considered vital in the
school where I am assigned.

2. How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development/ how
does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?

3. Would you like to teach in school environment you just observed? Why? Why not?

Yes, I would like to work as a teacher at Kabacan National School which is a high-
performing institution in the community. In addition, the school's facilities are well-kept,
and the classrooms' decor and organization encourage both students and teachers to
perform well on learning assessments. However, it would still be preferable if I would be
assigned in my home town located at Datu Paglas so that I could finally be close to my
family.

4. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning?

A school campus, in my opinion, that best exemplifies conducive to learning are those
with a democratic atmosphere, where students are free to choose what they want to
learn, paired with progressivist teachers that inculcate John Dewey's theory of learning
by doing, which gives students the opportunity to not just learn by listening to the
teachers but also have the chance to experience real learning by doing it themselves
which encourages active learning.

5. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?

For me, the process of developing a classroom environment that is conducive to

learning may be separated into two sections. First, we'll focus on the classroom's
physical characteristics, in particular, its physical area, which should be neat, artistic,
and well-organized. It should also be well-lit and well-ventilated. Second, the classroom
should be a safe place where children feel accepted, not alone, and that there is nothing
to fear while also encouraging cooperation, fostering a sense of community, and
ultimately upholding a healthy classroom climate and culture.
6. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in the number 3?

As a soon to be teacher, I must know that kids need structure. They need things a
certain way if they are going to learn. Well, it all must start right in my very own
classroom that's why I need to be sure that my classroom is set up in a very functional
manner, so that each and every child learns. And I can accomplish that responsibility by
using CATS which stands for Comfort, Atmosphere, Tools and Space.
Comfort - As a teacher, my first priority is to ensure that the children feel at ease by
eliminating any distractions and making sure that everything is as secure as possible.
Atmosphere- My classroom will have decorations everywhere. When they find the room
warm, inviting & fun where student can relax. They will see school not as a task, but
something fun.
Tools - the use of visual aids, books, online games, gadgets, attention-grabbing
educational materials, and interesting activities to make sure that my kids would be
eager to study and learn.
Space - I will set up my classroom with an active learning space with moveable chairs
and tables, and is designed to make my students learn more actively, collaboratively,
and experientially.

7. What do you think was the purpose of the board display?

Some boards gives information to the audience about mission and vision of the school.
Other also inspire them to do their best in academics. When it comes to holding and
relaying important information’s that would serve as a reminder to both students and
faculties, board displays are important. It did fulfill its primary purpose. Yes, it served its
core function but unfortunately students and faculties show less interest in reading
what is written or posted in the bulletin because of its appearance and outlook.

8. Did the board display design reflect the likes/interests of its target audience? Why?
Why not?

Yes, without a doubt, given that the concept and title appear to have been created by
students, as well as the style and material choices used. Since it was created by certain
students, I can state that everything that has been submitted reflects the preferences or
interests of its intended audience, who is also students.

9. Was the language used clear and simple for the target audience to understand? Why?
Why not?

The answer is unquestionably positive since the language used is are clear and
appropriate for the audience's level of technical understanding. Additionally, the
audience is seen to be respected and taken into account, which improves
communication between the two parties.
