OBSERVATION REPORT

Name of the school observed: Santa Maria East Integrated School


School Address: Poblacion East, Santa Maria Pangasinan

The learners I observed have a range of abilities. First, some students


understand the teacher's question with ease while others do not. The front-row
students are more appealing than the back-row students.
The students in the back are the most misbehaving, according to their
teacher. They require the teacher's full attention, especially in regards to their
studies, as they are not the section's fastest learners.
It goes without saying that high achievers are more engaged in class than low
achievers. The top achievers can complete their group assignments more quickly than
the poor achievers. Additionally, they engage with their teacher more frequently than
low achievers do.

Analyze

1. Are there areas in the classroom for specific purposes? Describe these areas. Will
it make a difference if these areas for specific purposes are not present?

In the back, there are several books that are neatly arranged. Alongside
the table in front, they also have a chalk box.

Teacher is available, ask him/her to describe the process. What’s the effect of
student’s participation in rule-making on student’s behavior?
The majority of the students, according to their teacher, are obeying the
rules, but some of them are not. She gave punishment to those learners
who didn't obey the regulations, in her opinion.

4. What are the daily routines done by the teacher? How are they done?
The opening prayer was led by the president of the class as the instructor
opened the class. This was followed by pleasantries from both the teacher
and the pupils. The group leaders will then report on attendance and
move on to the discussion portion.

5. Is there a seating arrangement? What is the basis of the arrangement?


The students are seated by group and they are alternate boys and girls.

6. Observe the noise level in the classroom. How is this managed?


Since most of the students are listening, there isn't much noise made by
them throughout the teacher's discussion.

7. If a learner is not following instructions or is off-task, what does the teacher do?
Describe the behavior strategies use.
If the children are making too much noise while the teacher is talking, she
will pause the conversation, and after a little interval, the noise stops.

8. What does the teacher do to reinforce positive behaviors?


The teacher encourages the learners by providing a favorable response to
their response.

1. Why do you need to enforce positive discipline?


There are those students in every class who a teacher finds difficult to

hold their attention during a discussion, particularly if they are bored or

have other distractions. So as a teacher, you must come up with new

activities and be enthusiastic in order to engage your kids.

Although some of the students are bored since they are used to their

regular routines, the teacher can capture their interest by chatting

I picture myself as a third-year high school teacher. I follow several

protocols, practices, and procedures that will help them be prepared for

their time at college.
