ABSTRACT
This study aims to explore the effects of Using coconut fiber and bamboo chute as a
indigenous filtering system. Specifically, the study determines the reliability of the
indigenous filtering system, this aims to help a certain or group of communities to
have a accessible drinking water for a very cheap cost and efficient way.

This study utilized the qualitative research design which is used as a scientific
method to gain a difinate explanation on how the indigenous filtering system works,
The study adapted from Hippocrates the first man who invented the early water
filter on 500 BC known as ‘Hippocrates sleeve’.

INTRODUCTION
Although there are many types of water filtration devices which are sold on the
market but it is very costly and sometimes not reliable and available to general
public, which is not given much attention this filtration system could really help a
certain community with this filtering system could be used any time any where and
in any situations.

Using Coconut fiber and bamboo chute combined together can be a reliable filtering
system it is a cheap and reliable as the ones and can be compared ones on the
market, this filtering system will behaving two main components the coconut fiber
