Question
Every society needs to develop an economic system-a particular set of institutional
arrangements and a coordinating mechanism to respond to the economizing problem.
Economic systems differ as to (1) who owns the factors of production and (2) the method used
to coordinate and direct economic systems in the world today are :
1. Capitalism.
2. Socialism.
3. Mixed economy and
4. Islamic economy.

Students’ assignment should follow on below questions.

1) Define each of the economic system and example of one country that practice EACH
economy.
2) Explain features of EACH of the economic system.
3) Discuss what are the advantages of capitalism, socialism and mixed economy.

4) Discuss what are the disadvantage of capitalism, socialism and mixed economy.

5) On your opinion, which economic system is the best and explain your reason.
