I. Program Rationale:

Integrating technology and constructivism in teaching mathematics in

primary: a basis for enhancement program is a timely program that can help the

21st century learners to stimulate them in learning Mathematics with the help of

technology and constructivism in the teaching and learning process. It will

develop the learnings that are suitable to the fast-paced learners to understand the

subject clearly and to sustain authentic learnings. With this approach, enjoyment

and curiosity will take place in the environment, and the studying will become

more engaging and interesting rather than dull and conventional learning. The

creativity of the educator can make a huge change in the teaching field through

this they can explore in greater depth to the subject and can make meaningful

learnings.

II. Program Objectives:

1. By the 1st quarter of the school year, the primary teacher conducts a training and

seminar session with 112 hours, 8 hours per week to master the use of technology

and constructivism in implementing the teaching and learning process and to

develop 3 to 5 technique that are necessary in the teaching skills.

2. By the 2nd quarter of the school year, the said district will have the multimedia
equipment, from summer break the division office, LGU, NGO’s and general

PTA will raise money to buy multimedia equipment that can be used by the

teachers and learners to enhance the teaching and learning process, that is donated

in school.
