Performance Task

Content Standard: The learner demonstrates an understanding of concepts, underlying theories and
principles in the preparation of farm materials, tools and equipment, and occupational health and safety
operations in crop production

Performance Standard: The learner uses farm materials, tools and equipment and applies occupational
health and safety practices in crop production

Objectives
 Identify the different gardening activities
 Value the importance of gardening
 Demonstrate skills in growing vegetable crop

Gardening Journal

1. A performance task where the learners will be sending photo/s or video of themselves planting any
vegetable crop at home. You may use your tablet (that has been provided by the LGU) or your personal
cellphone.

2. Photo/s or video showing the learners performing gardening activities such as


 preparation of the soil or container (like plastic bottle, pots, and the likes) where you will plant
the vegetable crop
 planting the seed
 watering the crop
 weeding
 cultivating the soil
 harvesting

3. Learner should put caption/s describing each photo.

4. Submission can be
 on a weekly basis until the end of 3rd Quarter via FB messenger
 at the last week of 3rd Quarter
