Performance Standard: The learner independently maintains the growing of


seedlings, Procure and select good quality seeds, Conduct
seed testing according to the approved practices as specified
in produce vegetable.

Learning Outcome: Growing Seedling

Time Duration: 2 Hours

I. Objective: at the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

• identify the Seed certification standard


• the Importance of Seed Germination Test
• standard operating procedure ( SOP ) on Seed testing
• Perform proper freaking and bagging system and management.

B. Review
- The teacher will allow the students to recall the previous lesson on
the What is Land preparation?

C. Motivation:

Video Presentation.

D. Lesson Proper:

Activity:

 Tagline game
 The teacher motivates the students

 A short discussion by the teacher
 Afterwards, the students/group will discuss the picture that being given.

Instruction: In a ½ sheet of paper Observe the value of certified seeds as part of their packaging in preserving seeds.

 The group will select one representative to present their output in the class.
 After the group presentation the teacher will give reinforcement in regards to the topic.
 The teacher will perform feedbacking.

 The group will select one representative to present their output in the class.
 After the group presentation the teacher will give reinforcement in regards to the topic.
 The teacher will perform feedbacking.

 The group will select one representative to present as a main player of the game.
