Malek Alshawrama

In this course, I will choose a sandwich restaurant as my business. The restaurant's

name is Malek Alshawrama. This business is my choice because it is a family business that

we have inherited from my previous generations over the years. My great grandfather started

this restaurant business from scratch with just a tiny hotel in the village. He had a passion for

cooking and a vision of opening a big restaurant that he could later leave to his children. My

grandfather inherited it and expanded it to a larger room that could serve more customers. My

father then inherited it and opened another branch in the city. I have worked in the hotel since

I was twelve years old, handling tasks in the kitchen, front service, waitering, and

management. I have inspired my father and developed a passion for this business to the point

of wanting to open my own business. The main products in my business are shawarma rap,

prepared by wrapping slices of roasted meat in bread. The business will provide various types

of shawarma, including family vests and crap shawarma. The restaurant will also provide

products such as fries and hummus.

The setting details of the business include the competition. Despite being a

product of a vast restaurant, Malek Alshawrama will face massive competition from multiple

businesses in the same industry, such as McDonald's and Wendy's. The objective of this

business the expand and open stores all over the globe and secure a significant market share.

The business will also obtain permits and licenses to operate by the restaurant's regulations as

stipulated in the policy.

In terms of size, the business is medium because it is family owned and has six

employees. Every employee has a separate task, some being waitpersons, accounting, chefs,

and me being the manager. The business also has cooking appliances, including two cookers

and two food processors. Due to the pandemic, the business will be on brick & mortar and

online. Customers can easily make orders and get items delivered via our online website. The

primary purpose is to serve quality and delicious food to our customers at a pocket-friendly

price. Currently, the business is operating locally, serving the local people in the town. The

business serves food products to our customers, even takeaways. The main customers are the

office employees from nearby government offices, the students from a local school, and the

general public within the city. The business does not have a customer limitation limit because

every human person feels hungry often.
