Introduction
Life includes shopping every day, while some people only purchase necessities when they shop, others
purchase more and when a buyer or consumer decides to purchase something, the primary question is which purchasing
method they should use to meet their needs. Generally, there are two main categories of shopping: the traditional and online
shopping and each of them has advantages and disadvantages. Learning and analyzing consumer behavior is crucial for a
business’ success today, regardless of whether its online or offline. The market is driven by consumers, every business
decision is made with the interest of customers in mind.

Statement of the Problem
The online shopping, in the present is relevant among teenagers and young people, despite of this, in terms of
absolute or sheer value, traditional shopping is still way ahead compared to online shopping. This study aims to provide more
information on the distinctions between online and traditional shopping preference of Senior High School students. This
study also aims to know what are the factors that influences the Senior High students to choose online shopping over
traditional shopping and vice versa. This study will discuss the nature of online and traditional shopping, what are the
problems that this two categories of shopping facing, and what measures can be done to resolve these problems, so that it can
attain significant success. 

Objectives of the Study


The following are the objectives:
1. To determine which shopping category is preferred by Senior High School students.
2. To understand the concept of Online and Traditional Shopping.
3. To compare and understand the differences between Online and Traditional shopping
