To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Molly Mangum, and I was Manal Khan’s cooperating teacher during her student
teaching assignment in the fall of 2022. Manal completed twelve weeks of student teaching in
my second grade classroom at Oak Ridge Elementary in Royal Oak.

During Manal’s experience, she was kind, patient, and receptive to learning new things, as well
as to receiving feedback from both myself and her university supervisor. Ms. Khan was a
dependable teacher in our building, and often collaborated with the second grade team to prepare
for our curriculum. She attended professional development meetings and grade level PLC’s.

Throughout Ms. Khan’s independent student teaching, she implemented lesson plans and
differentiated activities for learners. I am happy to write this letter of recommendation for Ms.
Khan as she begins her teaching career. She has great potential and is very willing to learn. Any
school district will be lucky to have her.
