Guidelines for participants

I. PREJUDGING

Popularity award: 10% (Duo)


- From november 2-3, students can vote for their desired candidates through
symbocards. Class presidents of all sections will be given a sheet where they
can input the country that they are supporting and how many votes they will
give.
- Popularity awards will be graded by pair. (Mr. and Ms.)
- There will be a list of the contestants’ names that will be given out to the
students.
- Symbocards will be P10.00 each.
Popularity award bearing to pre-judging grade:
- The winner of the popularity award will receive 10% of their total sales
More than or equal to 1000 10 points
900-999 9 points
800-899 8 points
700-799 7 points
600-699 6 points
500-599 5 points
499 and below 4 points

Talent Award: 15% (Individual)


- Participants must take a video of their talent performance.
- Must not exceed 5 minutes. Those who exceed will receive a 5 point
deduction to their talent grading.
- The talent will be graded individually.
- Late submission will receive a 5 point reduction on their talent grading.
- Deadline of video: November 2, 2022 (Wednesday) 11:59 p.m. google drive
link.

CRITERIA:
I. Overall Presentation - 30%
II. Originality - 25%
III. Technical Ability - 35%
IV. Video Presentation - 10%
- First place will receive 15%; second, 14%; third, 13%; other is 10%.

Photogenic award guidelines: (Duo)


- On November 02, 2022, the candidates will go to the Museum of
Muntinlupa to hold their costume photoshoot.

- Candidates can bring 1 assistant that must be a fellow MunScian.


- Participants must also bring their costume.
- The photoshoot will be held starting at 10:00 a.m.

- The photogenic award will be graded on November 3, 2022 prior to the


event proper.
- The photogenic award does not have a bearing to the overall grade.

CRITERIA:
I. Overall Presentation - 30%
II. Participant’s aura - 25%
III. Coordination - 35%
IV. Pose and fierce - 10%

II. CATWALK, INTRODUCTION, AND COSTUME

Catwalk - 20%
- Participants will be catwalking on the stage setup where participants
can give their fierce looks and presentation of their costume.

Personality and stage presence: 20%


- Participants must prepare a 30-second introduction that describes
themselves.

Costume Guidelines:
- Participants must follow their assigned color motif. Their color must be
present in their actual costume.

- Ptolemy: Red - Pascal: Violet


- Pasteur: Orange - Priestley: Pink
- Pythagoras: Yellow - Grade 11: Brown
- Pauli: Green - Grade 12: Black
- Peano: Blue

- Participants must make their costume with at least 50% recyclable materials
(Newspapers, magazine, cartons, etc.) - 15%
- The costume must not be messy.
- Participants must submit a list of the recycled materials used on November
2, 2022 8:00 p.m.

III. Q&A PORTION

CONFIDENCE - 30%
- Participants should not stutter or make long pauses in between words
with complete and concise use of grammar and directness of answer.

IDEA AND COMPLETENESS - 70%


- The participant will pick out a number and the number corresponding
to a judge.
- The participant will be given 1 minute and 30 seconds to answer.

- Talent portion: 15%

II. Catwalk, introduction, and costume wear - 75%


- Personality and stage presence: 20%
- Catwalk - 20%
