Research Working Producing Biofuels from Green Algae (Chlorophyta) to power generators
Title:

A new environmentally sustainable source of production referred as
“biofuel”, bio from the word biodegradable and fuel, is a new renewable
source of production that is thought to be able to solve the world's energy
crisis. Biofuels are an alternative form of fuel made from organic food
products and waste materials. The ingredients for biofuels include ethanol
(from corn, tobacco and orange peels), methane and vegetable oil.
Chemically, it consists mostly of fatty acid methyl (or ethyl) esters (FAMEs).
Feedstocks for biodiesel include animal fats, vegetable oils, soy, rapeseed,
jatropha, mahua, mustard, flax, sunflower, palm oil, hemp, field pennycress,
Pongamia pinnata and algae. As the supply of our present energy sources
Background of the progressively decreases, there has been a desire for biofuel production, with
Study algae serving as its main source. Biofuel is produced in a more cost and
environmentally friendly manner than conventional fuel, making it both safer
and more affordable to produce, since any organic material may be converted
into biofuel. In contrast to conventional gasoline like natural gas, coal and
oil, the manufacturing of biofuel is more practical and sustainable.
Green algae (Chlorophyta) are usually found in fresh water and are
considered multicellular plants even though the bulk of the live organisms
within them are unicellular. It has the benefit of being multicellular, which
allows it to live longer and grow larger than usual. This makes it an excellent
resource for experiments like harvesting biofuel from one of its storage
bodies, called pyrenoids. As a replacement for fuel, biomass is broken down
to create biofuel, which is used in engines and generators.
