OBJEKTIF a) to explain in simple language why they like the event and people based on a setting in the text.
b) to read and find out the correct sentences.

KRITERIA 1. explain at least 3 suitable things that they would like do in a garden
KEJAYAAN 2. read and find out at least 2 correct sentences.

Pre-lesson: Teacher writes an alphabet on the board and asks pupils to write down animals starting from the letter.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils refer to the poem ‘Watching a Bumble Bee’ and read it silently.
2. Teacher can provide sentence strips from Year 5 poem collection or write the sentences on the board. Pupils are asked to read the sentences
and state which sentences are true and which ones are false. Pupils can be called to the front to write true/false at the end of the sentences.
AKTIVITI / 3. Based on the sentences about the bumble bee, pupils are guided to create a graphic organizer about other things that they might see in a
PEDAGOGI garden. Pupils are also asked about the types of bees that they know.
4. Teacher checks pupils’ list and share answers about the types of bees.
5. Pupils are asked to draw another graphic organizer about what they would like to do in a garden and the kind of people they would like to
meet there.
6. Pupils explain their graphic organizer to the class with simple reasons.
Post-lesson: Teacher asks if anyone would like to change their answers in the graphic organizer.

Pre-lesson: Pupils do a little recap on their presentations yesterday.


Lesson delivery:
1. CD 1 Track 39 is played. Pupils listen to Anna and Greg talking. Teacher asks 2 questions first to check pupils listening
AKTIVITI / comprehension.
PEDAGOGI 2. Pupils refer to textbook page 28 and shadow read while teacher plays the audio again.
3. A few comprehension questions are written on the board for pupils to copy and answer.
4. Pupils are given the ‘Irregular Word Search’. Pupils must change the verb to past tense and look for the verb in the word search.
Post-lesson: Pupils check the answers.
