KNOWING THE SCENE; FILLING THE GAP
The hampering effects of COVID-19 Pandemic producing an approximately 80-90%
learning losses among Masbatenyo learners has driven SDO Masbate to intensify its
Learning Recovery Plan (LRP) aiming to recover these losses as classes started to be in
person-to-person modality.
Schools Division Superintendent Nene R. Merioles has presented to stakeholders the
context of education in Masbate squeezed from different data sources revealed by the
standardized assessment tools of DepEd and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) status
formed into an analyzed situation per municipality where the LGU leaders can focus
more in their efforts in delivering service along education and to collaborate more with
DepEd to address these gaps as revealed and to ensure attainment of the Learning
Recovery Program and Strategic Directions nailed in SAIL 2028.
FEATURED BOOTHS
The programs, projects and activities (PPAs) primarily enabling the realization of the
goals for the betterment of learners have set up PPA Booths. These are BriGADA BASA

in SDO Masbate Hymn: Hand in hand with the leaders, teachers and the whole
community, every noble dream of Masbatenyos will come true.
With the 2022 LGU Forum, SDO Masbate sees the second phase of the creation of its
