Warm regards, I am Megat Alif Imran bin Megat Mohd Hisham, currently a final year Actuarial
Science student in University of Malaya. I am writing to you with the intention of applying for
HLB PROTÉGÉ Internship Program in your company, Hong Leong Bank. I am interested to
pursue as much knowledge and experience in the finance field and this would be the best
opportunity to do so. I have just finished my studies at University of Malaya and I am currently
waiting for convocation that will be held in November. Hence, I will be able to start
immediately. The dates are flexible and I am open to discussion.

With great interest, I am looking forward to utilize and upgrade my proficiency and
skillset in the finance and risk management aspect which I have garnered during my degree
years. I would like to use this opportunity to showcase a bit about myself. I am a very
passionate and enthusiastic individual, especially about finance and mathematics. Beyond the
scope of my studies, I have also participated in programs which had sharpen my soft skills and
developed me into a better person. These past experiences have taught me work ethics and
etiquette and prepared me to be a cooperative, adaptive team player for organizations.
