A) C6H10O5+H2O  3CH4+3CO2

B) The digestive process starts in our mouth as we chew. Our salivary glands make saliva, a digestive
juice that contains enzyme, which moistens food so it moves more easily through our esophagus into
our stomach. Though, the majority of digestion happens in the small intestine. Digested chyme from the
stomach passes through the pylorus and into the duodenum. Here, chyme will mix with the secretions
from both the pancreas and the duodenum.

C) Digestion is the process of treating a substance by means of heat, enzymes, or a solvent to promote
decomposition or extract essential components. It is responsible for breaking down food into smaller
molecules of nutrients before the blood absorbs them and carries them throughout the body.

D) I can relate this to people because we, humans, require food as it is the source of nutrients. Digestion
is one way humans can take nutrients into their body and gain energy to use for the entire day.
