1. Presentation
Heat is a form of energy associated with
the motion of atoms.the amount of heat
that the earth receives from the sun
makes it possible for the planet to
sustain life.Sun is the main source of
heat .Heat is a form of energy that
travels from a hotter object to a colder
object. Heat energy can change the state
of a substance, from solid to liquid or
from liquid to gas.We will tackle it
further.

ACTIVITY 1.
Can you please bring out the materials that I
assigned you to prepare for today’s activity. Do
you have them? “Yes, Ma’am”

Okay class, so here are the

directions for the activity today.
Read them first.
1. On a bowl put a hot water the put balloon on the
mouth of the big battle
2. Place the bottle with balloon in the bowl with hot
water then observe.
3. After that try to put the bottle with a balloon in a
bowl with a cold water then observe.

I will divide you into two groups.

The teacher will do first.

Do you understand what to do? “Yes, Ma’am.”

Are you finish? “Yes Ma’am.”

Accomplish also this form that

you observe on the

What did you observe when you put the bottle

with balloon in hot water?
How about when the bottle with balloon put in
cold water?
We observe that the balloon inflates after we pot on a
hot water maybe because the air inside the balloon
expand. The reason why balloon inflates.
Ma’am the balloon deflates,

Very good…. the cold water causes the air

molecules to cool down ans deflates the balloon.

 Try to rub your feet in the floor then feel

what happen after you rub it contentiously?
 Observe the bulb in your house?

What did you noticed after you continuously rub

your feet on the floor? Ma’am after I rub my feet continuously on the floor I feel
heat on my feet. My feet start burning.

Very good… that is what we call static

electricity.Static electricity is created when
positive and negative charges aren't
balance.static electricity is not a direct threat for
human life.
