    Unit 06 NO MAN IS AN ISLAND

    Lesson:
    Think it over: introducing the unit through pictures on data show.

    Time allowance: 30 mn.

    Materials: computer, data show, textbook and power point.

    Procedure:

    Anticipate:

    Aim: PPs should be able to guess & understand what the discussed topic is.

    Task 1: Before you read.

    Aim: PPs should be able to answer the questions using the screen.

    Task 2: When reading.

    Aim: PPs should be able to understand the text through the instructions given.

    Task 3: After you read.

    Grammar Desk:

    Task 1: PPs read the questionnaire and the sentences from the report than compare as
    explained.

    Aim: To introduce the language points (direct and indirect or reported speech).

    Task 2: PPs read the interview and try to ask and answer questions.

    Aim: PPs should be able to use the transformation studied so far.
