3. TESTS RESULTS
3.1. Bending test
Normative documents: IEC 60502-2:2014, clause 18.2.4
Test conditions:
Test was performed at Electrophysical laboratory ELKA under supervision of supervision of
KONČAR-Electrical Engineering Institute. After bending test two test samples were cut and
prepared. The first sample for electrical tests and the second for water penetration test.
3.2. Partial discharge test
Normative documents: IEC 60502-2:2014, clause 18.2.5
Test conditions:
Test was performed at Electrophysical laboratory ELKA under supervision of supervision of
KONČAR-Electrical Engineering Institute.
Sample passed the test.
3.3. Tan δ measurement
Normative documents: IEC 60502-2:2014, clause 18.2.6
Measuring equipment:
Voltage supply / standard capacitor, Tettex, type 5281, SN:141981
C tan δ bridge, Tettex, type 2805, SN:133788
Data acquisition system, Keithley, type:2700, SN:4106528

Test conditions:
Cable was heated by means of AC current to conductor temperature between 95 °C and
100 °C.

3.4. Heating cycle test
Normative documents: IEC 60502-2:2014, clause 18.2.7
Measuring equipment:
Data acquisition system, Keithley, type:2700, SN:4107336
20 channels multiplexer module, Keithley, type 7700, SN: 4107192; 4107195
Test conditions:
Temperature cycles:
Heating: 5 hours (minimum 2 hours at temperature between 95 °C and 100 °C)
Cooling: 3 hours
Test results:
20 heating cycles have been completed. After heating cycle test sample was subjected to
partial discharge test in 3.5.
Sample passed the test.
3.5. Partial discharge test after heating cycle test

Test conditions:
Test was performed at Electrophysical laboratory ELKA under supervision of supervision of
KONČAR-Electrical Engineering Institute.

Heating cycle parameters:

10 heating cycles have been completed. No leakage was observed at the ends of test sample.
Sample passed the test.
