A. Legal Forms of Business

To ensure the legitimacy of the business, it will be licensed as a sole


proprietorship at the Department of Trade and Industry, and get other permits and legal
forms such as BIR, mayor's permit, barangay clearance, and sole proprietorship
registration at the Philippine Business Registry. The entrepreneur will be the one who is
in charge of complying with the legal documents in order for the business to operate
legally. Furthermore, in order for the permits to be eligible and qualified for the minimum
wage and income tax exemptions, the owner will also register the business with the
barangay microbusiness.

The proprietor, who is the owner, will be in charge of all business operations.
Also, to comply with all the requirements to be able to operate without problem. As a
result, the proprietor will be totally responsible for all operational losses and will have
complete control over the business's operations.

Soft Opening

Grand Opening
1. Site Location. The location of the proposed business will be at Pit-os, Cebu City,
Cebu, 6000, Philippines near the Pit-os National High School. The proponents agreed
to the business location for it is an ideal place as a result of our survey and is also
exposed to our target customers which are the students. The business's permitted time
frame is predicted to be 2 weeks and which falls in the first 2 weeks of the month of
September. This time span is used to negotiate the contract or rent conditions, as well
as the agreement.

2. Looking for Suppliers. The proponents will search and locate for best suppliers of
the raw materials needed for daily operation. The contract negotiations regarding the
conditions and agreement will take 2 weeks, and which falls on the last 2 weeks of
September.

3. Purchasing Equipment. In searching for the best equipment with the most
reasonable price that fits the first 3 weeks of October.

4. Repairs on rented space. To ensure good location condition, there will be repairs
and renovation for the space needed. This is to make sure that the business is
appealing and production is efficient. This activity will take 2 weeks of work and will be
implemented on the last week of October and on the first week of November.

5. License and Permits. In the second week of November, the proponents will process
the registering of these documents. A business must meet all of the state's standards in
order to obtain a business license. This part is very crucial as it lets the business
operate legally and adds credibility.

6. Staff Hiring. Having the right staff is an asset to the business. They play an
important role as they serve as the representative of the business and deals with the
customers. This activity includes recruiting, reviewing resumes and interviewing
applicants. The time available for this activity will be one week on the third week of
November.

7. Orientation and Preparation of staffs. A staff needs to be oriented first before


letting them do the work to avoid mistakes and complications. Rules and regulation in
the business needs to be discussed as well. The duration available for this activity will
be one week on the third week of November.

8. Purchase of supplies and utensils. After listing all the needed supplies and
utensils, the proponents will take their time to acquire the items needed in the business.
The allocated time for this task will be two weeks on the last week of November and first
week of December.
9. Installation of the stall, equipment, and renovation. Afterwards, We finished
buying the needed equipment and supplies, Proceeding now to place them in Pit-os
which is our planned in the first place. The deadline will be in two weeks on the last
week of November and first week of December.

10. Advertising and promotion of the product. In doing business, promoting the
business is also part of the job. Advertising is one of the most effective way to promote
the business by posting on social media accounts and hiring influencers. So that the
business will be known, once the business will be known consumers can visit the place
to taste and see the product. The time allotted for this would be one week which would
fall in the middle weeks of December

11. Soft opening. In business planning, It is important to plan about the upcoming
opening for the business. The first thing you’ll need to do is determine who to invite to
your soft opening, The business should prepare the staff, build buzz and get feedback
from the customers. Soft opening helps the business to boost more audience or
customers and be successful. The soft opening will be two weeks which would fall on
the last week of December and the first week of January.

12. Grand opening. This kind of event is very important for the business. It helps the
business to attract new customers, generate buzz, gain media attention and create
goodwill with neighboring businesses. Business will be intended to introduce the
community to a new business. This event will start on the last three weeks of January.
