Work Methodology
The project site is located in Oromia Region North Shoa Zone k/goha town

The activities include mobilization of materials and human resources, execution of each activity
as per the requirement of BOQ & testing of materials to assure the quality of works. To this end
there is a best reference of quality.

The local materials supply is not that much a problem sand source about 40 km from the Town
and aggregate around 30 km (kuyu) . The cement supply is from East, Derba and Muger cement
factory and other materials from AddisAbeba. Then site work will be continued after Excavation
works of other structures completed.

1. Excavation & Earth Works

Excavation over the site shall be excavated using man power and excavation machine. The excavation of
pite on proposed area should be done using man power or using excavation machine.

Borrow material will be hauled to site using dump trucks and loader then placing will be performed using
hand compactors.

Before any filling operation is carried out, any existing unsuitable material shall be removed and replaced
with selected material.

2. Concrete Works

All concrete to be used on the project shall be adequate number of labor shall be made available at site to
ensure proper work.

, c-25 reinforced concrete minimum cement content of 360 kg of cement /m3 of concrete is used.

3, MASONERY WORK

We use av. 60cm thick hard rock or equivalent stone masonry and also have retaining wall bedded in
cement mortar (1:3).

4. FINSHING WORK

We use three coats of plastering in cement mortar (1:3) and it includes exposed surface of beam and
column, pre cleaning and pre paration of the surface ,also three coats of painting in gypsum chacked
internal wall and ceilling.

5. Block work
Block work is most important work for the construction of any BLDG. so we use quality hollow
concrete in size 15x20x40 cm and 20x20x40 cm.

6.Roofing
We also use quality G-28 CGIS from known local factory in according to the design
&specification given , serving to protect against rain, snow, sunlight, wind and extremes
temperature.

7. carpentry, Metal work, Paving and Flooring and

Painting ,electrical &sanitary works.
All those types of works are depends on the specification and ordered by consultant so we will
depends on the specification and we will finish on time with quality.

8, Metal work

Doors and windows are manufacterd from38mm thick LTZ profile all as per the engeners approval and
windows schedule.it includes one coat of antirust and two coats of synthetic enamel paint,best quality
lock with handle ,grill c/c 15cm and other necessary access.

9. floor finishing

We can use 3cm thick cement screed and apply and fix high ceramic/terazo tile & skirting(1:3).

10. glazing
we use 4mm thick clear sheet glass to metal beads and puttied with approved quality of putty.
