SAN MIGUEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

PURPOSE
Rationale : Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 161: “Institutionalizing Quality
Management System in Governance”, amended through Executive Order
No. 605, “Institutionalizing the Structure, Mechanisms and Standards to
Implement Quality Management Program” which direct all government
agencies to implement & institutionalize a national quality management
system as a strategy to:
1. Promote transparency & accountability in governance;
2. Provide a framework for assessing quality system performance;
3. Establish public service quality standards;
4. Recognize quality excellence among the government organizations.

And in accordance with DepEd Dasmariñas Division Memorandum No.


0968 s. 2021emphasizing DepEd Order No. 43 s. 2010 also known as the
“Creation of the Quality Management Teams (QTMs) anchored to Basic
Education Reform Agenda (BESRA) (DepEd Order No. 83, s 2006) KRT 3 -
Desired Learning Outcomes Enhanced by National Strategies and Quality
Assurance, DepEd Order No 118, s 2010, Adoption of the New BESRA
Implementation Arrangement, KRT 4: Quality Assurance and
Accountability and Monitoring and Evaluation and DepED Order 44 s.
2010“Adoption of KRT 3: Quality Assurance and Accountability
Framework” -Institutionalization of the Quality Management System in
DepED, San Miguel Elementary School commenced its first quarter School
Monitoring, Evaluation and Adjustment (SMEA) Conference for the fiscal
year 2021.

Objectives : This one-day quarterly activity aims to: account for the outcome of
monitoring and evaluation on the status, progress and result of every
activity cascaded in the delivery of basic education services in our school.
The School M&E coordinator shall present the school’s actual
accomplishment to date with regards to the target plan plotted on the school
annual improvement plan.
With the presence of both the internal and external stakeholders, it also
aims to provide immediate feedback on the efficacy and weaknesses of
Annual Improvement Plan (AIP) implementation in our school and to
provide possible solutions/recommendations to the issues, concerns, gaps
and problems reflected in the presentation of the school M&E coordinator.
