REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
A literature review is a process of summarizing, synthesizing, and/or critiquing the literature
discovered through a literature search. It is also a detailed review of existing literature on the
topic of a thesis. The literature review examines scholarly articles, books, and other sources that
are relevant to a specific area of study. The literature review acknowledges previous researchers'
work, assuring the reader that your work is well-conceived. A literature review's goal is to gain
an understanding of the existing research and debates relevant to a specific topic or area of study
and to present that knowledge in the form of a written report. Conducting a literature review will
assist you in expanding your knowledge in your field. Most importantly, it provides a foundation
of knowledge on the subject.
