Sir;

In connection with the audio-visual system of the University’s Socio Cultural Center, upon
observation and some unexpected technical failures during on one (1) event of the 2022
Intramurals Meet, which is the search for Mr. and Ms. NwSSU. There have been LOW to NO
power due to external source problem that have caused some modules and power supplies of the
LED Video Wall to temporarily unable to work, leaving parts of the said screen to remain black
(see Figure 1).

Although the problem has been addressed and the screen has been returned to its usable state,
future electric voltage problems may still occur, that may lead to the same effects that had happen
on the recent event or worse damaging the device and equipment.

On the other hand, the current blower that served as the cooling system for the processor and
power supply of the LED Video Wall, which were placed at the back of the stage, has been
removed since it was causing the system to become clogged with dust, which might lead to
device failure.

The best recommendation during times of usage of the audio-visual system of the venue is to
simultaneously operate the power generator during the event. This is to prevent any unnecessary
damage to the devices and equipment (which includes the Powered Speakers and Digital Mixer)
which are very sensitive in terms of its power supply. And regarding to the cooling system for the
LED Video Wall, it is recommended to be replaced with air-conditioning unit with capacity enough
for the back stage.
