NARRATIVE REPORT

This free webinar from MEPF is basically introduced to us the topic about solar system design,
so, from what I have learned from the introduction that basically the solar energy is highly
significant in today's society since it is environmentally friendly. It is far superior than other
polluting energy sources such as fossil fuels and others. It also has cheap maintenance expenses.
It is essential also since it provides a clean and renewable source of electricity. As a result, it will
not harm the environment in any manner. It is also offered on a daily basis. Similarly, it does not
pollute the environment. Solar panel systems do not need a large amount of solar power energy.
Furthermore, they come with a 5–10-year warranty, which is really advantageous. The most
essential benefit is that it lowers the cost of power bills. In other words, we mostly utilize it for
cooking and heating our houses. As a result, it reduces the cost of our utility bills and allows us
to save some money. Furthermore, solar energy has a wide range of potential uses. Many cities
and villages use solar energy to power their homes, workplaces, and other facilities. Furthermore,
it may be used in places without access to a power grid. So, for more information about this
webinar, I also learned the four differences between commercial and residential solar system. So
from what they discussed, here are the four primary factors that determine whether a solar energy
system is commercial or residential. First was the efficiency, which means commercial solar
panels utilize household solar panels in terms of efficiency. Commercial solar power generates
more power since the panels are larger and more energy efficient, but it also costs more per
kilowatt for a home's electricity, which must be at least as expensive as a house. Next was size,
which means commercial solar panels are often bigger than household solar panels. As long as
residents don't mind the size, they can have commercial-sized solar panels. They generate more
electricity and are more efficient, therefore they should be considered for your house. And then
the installation, which means commercial solar panels might take up to a month to install, but
residential panels just take a few days. Commercial roofs are typically flat, making installation
easier than residential roofing. A bolted racking system is the simplest way to install a
commercial solar panel. And lastly was the color, which means Solar panels can be black or
white. More often, residential customers want black panels on black backing and commercial
customers have white panels on white backing. The color you choose depends on your personal
preference for a solar panel is based on the material you are using to power your home. Therefor
I conclude that this webinar provide learners with enough knowledge needed to effectively plan
or successfully install any solar system requirements, and also it walks students through the
critical processes of doing an initial examination and determining examples for residential and
commercial.
Overall, we would like to express our gratitude for the MEPF organization of the
Philippines for providing a webinar that aims to help us students in the field of electricity. Also,
the following information gathered throughout the discussion are quite advance so that it serves
as a preparation among us to be ready in the work we will be having in the near future.
PROBLEMS MET (Discuss problems met before and during the webinar)

 Time

ACTIONS TAKEN. (Actions made to solve the problems encountered)

 Although it is reasonable that the webinar is intended to spend sufficient time for the
discussion of the entire issue, this can occasionally lead to boredom and
misunderstanding since the themes are too wide. Fortunately, the group generously
shared their video recordings with us by emailing it to us.
