WORKFLOW SEQUENCE:
1. Shop Drawings: Qualified Interior Designers and highly skilled draftsmen shall prepare
prototype/ shop drawing of every item based on the Consultant’s drawings/ FFE’s/ Design Intent
for approval from consultant before further progress/ production.
2. Prototype/ Shop Drawing Approval: Consultant shall provide approvals for all prototype/
shop drawings which shall be prepared and submitted by vendor.
3. Materials: Preparation of materials list and technical data sheet as per approved make list. All
makes/ brands of raw materials to be consumed for the project has to confirm as per the
approved make list mentioned in the tender documents.
4. Sample Approval: All samples of finished items (as per FFE) to be used has to be sent to
consultant for approval prior any kind of production for project.
5. Material Inspection Report (MIR): The following documents to be enclosed; 1. Material
Inspection Report 2. Material Test Certificate
6. Installation/ Fabrication/ Erection/ Construction: Installation shall be executed as per
approved drawing

METHOD STATEMENT FOR STONE FLOORING/CLADDING
OBJECTIVE: Laying of Marble as per the pattern approved in shop drawing to the required level with
straight line joints and finished as per the BOQ & Technical specifications.

PROCESS:
Check for approved type, Dimension and Colour/shade as per specification and drawing &
arrange for mock-up and get it approved
Shop drawing if any required to be approved by consultant
Seek clearance from the respective engineers to ensure the completion of all service works like
electrical and PHE.
Civil work of IPS/PCC required for Laticrete chemical mortar margin as per specification

METHOD STATEMENT FOR POP PUNNING & WALL CALDDING
OBJECTIVE: To achieve the acceptable surface finish as required by the specification and applicable
codes by following the good engineering practice in POP punning.

INSTRUMENTS & TOOLS: Spirit/ Water level, plumb bob, portable tools, Measurement Tape,
Masonry Tools, Laser Level, fibre mesh if required etc.
PROCESS:
Marking level & right angle bull marks by the reference level given by Hyatt
Civil corrections to be done as per the marking bull marks in critical areas before execution of
work
Shop drawing if any required to be approved by consultant
Seek Clearance from all the respective Engineers related to electrical, plumbing, data, etc.
Start with POP punning work with clients checklist
Check the punning surface wall after execution of work
Check the groove detail whether it is as per drawing
Check the curve wall surface, it has to be evenness
Cleaning of debris from the executed work location to client designated location
1st Coat of Putty on punned wall and sanding to achieve evenness surface
1st Coat of Primer Base of approved make
2nd Coat of Putty for any damage, touch-up if required & Primer Base
Collect the Wallcovering material from Hyatt supply
Laying of wallcovering with approved make adhesive with seamless joint or details as per
drawings and specification
Complete with Snag list

OBJECTIVE: To achieve the acceptable surface finish as required by the specification and applicable
codes by following the good engineering practice in false ceiling works.

PROCESS:
Civil and MEP Clearance should be taken before prior of tile work
1. Material Inspection
2. Surface Preparation
Structural Steel, Fireproofing and MEP Clearance should be taken prior to start of
work.
All the surface shall be free from dirt, dust, loose particles and other contaminants.
3. Level Marking
Marking shall be made on the Existing I beam as per required location mentioned in
the shop drawing.

Check for Clear height available on site after fixing of HVAC Ducts & other services related work
as per Drawings & Specification

Seek Clearance from all the respective Engineers related to MEP, FF, Security, etc.
Marking the level for clear height of False Ceiling with Gypsum margin
Fixing of Parameter of approved make as per specifications
Fixing of Intermediate of approved make at 900mm c/c as per specification
Fixing of suspended support from true ceiling with GI ‘L’ angle and fastener of approved make as
per specification
Fixing of Ceiling channel of approved make at 457 c/c as per specification
Providing 18mm BWR plywood templates for ceiling hung equipment’s/ accessories/ fixtures
Ceiling Closure signature from all the respective services engineers and PMC
Fixing of 12.5mm Gypsum Board of approved make with gypsum screw as per specification
Removing of paper from the corner of joint & tape it with Joint tape of approved make

Fix the joint with approved make compound & same to be finished with POP to achieve the
evenness surface
Cut-outs for AC Grills, Detectors, Ceiling Light Fittings/Fixtures, etc.
Cover all the Furniture, Flooring
1st coat Putty of approved make Application on gypsum surface
2nd coat Putty of approved make Application to achieve the evenness surface
1st coat of Primer base with approved make as per specification
Putty touch up if needed then 2nd coat of Primer Base
1st coat of Final Paint with approved make and shade
Let services team to fix all the AC Grills, Lights, etc.
2nd & final coat of Paint with approved make and shade to achieve the final finish as per
approved sample of the shade
Cleaning of all furniture, flooring, wall cladding, etc.

Covering the wooden flooring with vinyl sheet for protection to scratches before handing over
Removing of vinyl sheet after finishing all installation of loose furniture, accessories, etc.

Apply 1 coat of Fire Retardant paint inside surface of the plywood
Fixing of BWR plywood on frame work with specified thickness with self-drill screw
Fixing of Laminate, Mirrors, Glass, Marble/Stone, or fabric as per specification to achieve the
final finish surface/level as per approved shop drawing and mock-up
Apply polishing work on veneer for final finish

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this procedure is to establish, monitor and control activities during
wooden door work by the specification and applicable codes by following the good engineering practice
in Carpentry.

PROCESS:
Check for approved type, Dimension and Colour/shade as per specification and drawing
Shop drawing if any required to be approved by consultant
Seek clearance from the respective engineers to ensure the completion of all service works for
RFID Lock if any
Fixing in position approved wooden frames including architrave details as per drawings for doors
and single rebate for shutters, shaping, jointing.
Applying a coat of approved bituminous paint or black japan with terminator on concealed
surface of wooden frame
Fixing of door frame on masonry / RCC by McCoy Soudol PU Foam as per specification
Frames to be finished with two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer.
Making of door shutter of size as per drawing & specification including fixing of beading border
on edges

Fixing of door shutters of solid core block board bonded as per IS: 2202 on Butt Hinges as per
specification including fixing of hardware supply by ITC and the shutter shall be finished with ID
specified finish on both sides.
Shutter & Frame has to finished with approved shade of polishing on veneer and wood
