INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE
• Wheelbarrow have existed since ancient times again.
• These tools are friendly to farmers, gardeners and laborers in the field
of construction or agriculture to facilitate the workload of freight
transport
• Where heavy loads can be reduced by using a wheelbarrow that is
rejected or pulled by human power.
• The carts lighten the weight of the goods or materials lifted due to
the load it is transferred to the wheel and handle system.
• The main structural component of the cartridge is made up of strong
hollow iron with a pair of holders at the end of the iron.
LITERATURES REVIEW
• Wheelchairs are very useful means of transport for the community to carry out transportation
activities of gardeners, farmers, or building goods and so on. When viewed from the definition of
a wheelbarrow, it is a hand-driven, one-wheel-drive vehicle, driven by an operator through a
handle.
• The Smart Wheel Barrow is an innovated wheelbarrow than a regular wheelbarrow. It is a
combination of hydraulic and innovative wheelbarrows that can facilitate the lifting and moving of
objects from place to place over a distance of 10-50 meters. first invented this product, which is
to save labor.
• Nowadays, the issue of spinal pain and burdening consumers is increasing among wheelbarrow
users. In conclusion, this chapter such as the background of the study, statement of problems,
objectives of the study, scope of the study and the importance of the study has been discussed
issue among wheelbarrow users, especially the elderly in order to facilitate and prevent injuries
while using wheelbarrows.
ELECTRIC WHEELBARROW
• A motorised wheelbarrow in Figure below of the so-called four-wheel kind
comprising an electric motor to drive the wheelbarrow; adapted for
battery means , to be carried by the wheelbarrow to power the motor, to
be in the region of the front axle means, with all four wheels driven by the
single electric motor, that drives the rear two wheels directly and these
wheels in turn drive the other two wheels; the wheelbarrow having, when
empty, a weight distribution with more than half its weight on its front axle
means, and a hopper such that its load will be substantially on the front
axle means, with handle means for tilting the wheelbarrow so as to lift the
rear wheels off the ground, with a brake that operates automatically upon
interruption of power supply to the motor, and with a pivotal mount for
the hopper such that if the wheelbarrow is suddenly braked the hopper
will tend pivotally to tilt or overturn to eject its load forwards.
ELECTRIC WHEELBARROW
APPLICATIONS
• It can handle more weight
• Significantly reduces the labour cost
• It reduces the accidents
• Electric version gives more features
• Truly portable
• Long battery life

• THUMB THROTTLE
Parts used
• Well, quite simply in its component parts, and it consists of a battery,
motor, throttle and controller. And out of these parts, the battery and
motor are two of the most essential components of an electric
wheelbarrow. When a rider twists the throttle on the handlebar, the
controller reacts by commanding the battery to send electric energy
to the motor which is mounted on the hub of the wheels. The motor
uses this energy to rotate the gear which then moves the wheels of
the electric scooter forward.
Motor hub
• How hub motors work is simple; the motor listens to the rider’s input
through the controller. When you push the throttle button on the
handlebar, the controller signals the battery to release energy to the
motor to produce movement.
Thumb throttle
• The thumb throttle accelerates the scooter when you press the
throttle inward towards your palm. Of all throttle styles, the thumb
throttle is the smoothest when it comes to modulating speed. You will
find the thumb throttle across most entry-level e-scooters.
Main use and specification
• They’re specifically designed to make handling large products easier.
And without the back strain. There’s no lifting. There’s no straining to
lug anything up hills (or anywhere). With the simple pull of a button
and twist of the throttle, this incredible motorized wheelbarrow does
it for you. The electric motor runs off of a rechargeable battery pack,
which is great because it’s environmentally friendly. With only a 6-8
hour battery life, I’d get worn out before the cart!
ADVANTAGES
• The invention of electric wheelbarrows is of extreme benefit for
forestry, landscaping and agricultural uses.
• lesser load bearing capacity increases the number of trips to
transport good and thus enhances the period of the work.
• the cost that one needs to pay to the labor reduces considerably.
Thus it saves a lot of money for the user.
• this motorized version solves many issues and reduces the risk as it
does most of the heavy load work.
DISADVANTAGES
• If there is only one wheel used in front part , it will be less stable than
the 2 wheel option.
• Pneumatic wheels belong to the group of inflatable models, and they
are not known to have high cut resistance.
• In the event of a puncture, the equipment will lose its functionality.
This disadvantage is faced by those who use wheelbarrows on rough,
bumpy roads.
CONCLUSION
• Nowadays, the issue of spinal pain and burdening consumers is
increasing among wheelbarrow users. In conclusion, this chapter such
as the background of the study, statement of problems, objectives of
the study, scope of the study and the importance of the study has
been discussed issue among wheelbarrow users, especially the
elderly in order to facilitate and prevent injuries while using
wheelbarrows.
FUTURE SCOPES
• Significantly reduces the labour cost
• It will give log battery life
• The workload will be very less
• It reduces the backstrain and accidents
• It will more efficient and have somany advantages and features
compared to others.
