ABSTRACT
COMPONENTS MODIFICATION
• Engine • Handlebar-Forks had been
• Fork and shock made as like in Chopper
bikes
• Back and front frame • Front Wheel-Hub Motor
• Centre frame • Frame-Length had been
• Rear and front tyres and rim extended
• Stay rod. • Rear wheel assembly-Disk
• Battery brake had been added.
• Top plate and front clamp
set up
ENGINE
• In the project, The Yamaha Libero - 106cc, single-
cylinder four-stroke engine is used.
• It comes with Chain drive to transmit Motion to the Rear
wheel.
FRONT WHEEL-HUB MOTOR
• The front wheel comes with HUB
MOTOR.
• This hub motor is a BLDC motor.
• This motor provides necessary
torque to pull the vehicle during
driving
• It’s working voltage is 48V and
24Ah
• The hub motor speed is controlled
by pulsing the voltage by using a
Hall Effect sensor
BATTERY
• The hub motor requires a
48V and 24Ah there is no
battery available in this
range.
• so we take four deep
discharging lead acid 12V
10A battery and connected
them in series connection.
• so that the ampere remains
same but the voltage will
be added.
FRONT CLAMP
• The back frame of Yamaha libero is a dual shock type. But we modified to a mono
shock absorber.
• so as to get more damping and rigidity while riding.
• The stay rod of Yamaha is less strength so we changed that with Fazer stay and
full back set up of Fazer.
• Because the back tyre of Fazer is about 431mm diameter and 142mm width which
gives more area of rest and make the bike more stable while taking a turn.
• Taking a turn in this bike not an easy task
