Evening Session
Task #1
1. Why is it important that leaders understand how others perceive their
actions? Why is it important that other people perceive your actions as
fair?
- Leaders are who the general masses look up to. They are role models for
their constituents, so it is important to remember that they are always
watched and understand that their actions or words can be perceived in
different ways by different people. However, as an individual I must also
remember that it is important for people to see my actions as fair in order to
maintain good relationships with everyone.
2. Think of a time when you had to make a difficult decision. In making that
decision, what were the questions that you asked yourself? What does that
say about your personal code of ethics?
- When I had to call a difficult decision, I had to ask myself multiple times the
following questions:
 Am I making the right decision?
 Are there people that would be negatively affected by my decision?
 Have I exhausted all my other options?
- What this have to say about my personal code of ethics is that I take the time
to think over the situation before I come up with a decision.
