Task #4 – Interview Questions

You will be interviewed in a renowned resort: Pearl Farm Resort. Answer the
following questions:

1. What you know about the company and how that relates to your past experience
or how it relates to your future goals.
 Pearl Farm Resort is a renowned, high-end beach resort in Samal Island that
offers the best services to the customers they have catered. I do not have any
job experiences prior to this interview, but I am confident in saying that getting
to work with the staff of Pearl Farm will be extremely aligned with my future
goals. I plan to open my own resort in the future, and although I know it would
take a long time to even get to a quarter of the level Pearl Farm is on, the
experience I would have from working here would be prove to be immensely
beneficial in my endeavor in resort and hotel management.
2. A little about yourself – keep it mainly academic with a few interesting hobbies or
side projects. Make sure it can be related to the job you’re applying for.
 I am currently a student in SICC, taking up BS in Tourism Management. I
have always loved to travel and even at a young age I have been curious
about the management of tourist hotspots such as hotels and resorts. I’m
sure it has played a part in me taking up my current college course and
applying for a job at Pearl Farm.
3. Why would you be a good fit – focus on what you can do for the company, and
less on what the company can do for you.
 I am a diligent person and I believe I would be a great asset to the resort
because of my diligence. I am also a fast-learner and exceptionally
passionate with work.
