Detailed Lesson Plan in Health 6

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are able to:
a. Define injury.
b. Differentiate intentional injuries from unintentional injuries.
c. Classify the given situation as, whether they refer to intentional or unintentional
injuries.
d. Show enthusiasm in doing the activity.

news. Now, with that activity, who
can guess what will be our topic for
today? - Our topic for today sir is all about
INJURY.
That’s right. Our lesson for today is all
about INJURY ( Intentional and
Unintentional )

F. Analysis
But before we start our lesson,
what can you conclude about our
activity awhile ago in those pictures
I’ve shown you?
- I think sir, it is the different injuries
that you can get regardless of what
your age, sex, status and profession in
life. It manifest that danger can always
happen anytime and anywhere.

G. Abstraction
To further understand our lesson for
today, I want you to group yourself
into two. So I will divide the class into
two groups.

Now,

Group 1 will discuss the given - INJURY is a harm or damage to a

Group 2 will work on the


classification of injury. Differentiate
intentional injury from unintentional - INTENTIONAL INJURY – is the
injury. result of purposeful human action,
whether directed at oneself or others.

UNINTENTIONAL INJURY – injury


that is unplanned or considered as
accident or not intended to happen.

So INJURY is an instance of being


injured or damage to a person’s
feelings.

There are two classification of injury.


We have intentional injury and
unintentional injury.

Intentional Injuries are ones that are


purposely inflicted and are often
associated with violence.

While Unintentional Injuries are


those injuries that are not inflicted
purposely and that occur without
intent of harm.

meaning of INJURY?

topic.

I. APPLICATION
Okay children. Since you are all doing
good in our lesson. I will divide you
again into two groups. Each group
will present a role play.

Group 1 will present intentional


injury.
- The groups will present their roles in
Group 2 will present unintentional play.

and unintentional injury.
