Books and Technology

The technology of 3C products has replaced many things in our

life. Because of their convenience, people will use these technologies
more frequently to do something instead of more traditional ways.
The most relevant to us is studying. Although it brings us
convenience, it also hides many shortcomings. First, it is a nuisance for
poorer families. For example, when the school stipulates that computers
should be used for doing homework, some students may not be able to
complete their homework due to financial problems. Furthermore, using
a tablet to study will cause many distractions. For example, there are
messages about games displayed during the study, and some students
will be affected and want to play games. Finally, it may affect health
which is the most important for us. Sometimes we may only use the
Internet to read books because we cannot go out and must do
homework. However, reading for a long time may cause eyestrain,
blurred vision, or headache.
I think we can use tablets to study, but it doesn't mean that they
can completely replace books. All in all, if you want to have a good
learning outcome, you should have the appropriate equipment,
environment, and attitude instead of thinking about how to finish the
homework quickly and do it.
