A. MOTIVATION:

Have you ever taken a ride in a public transportation with


an aggressive driver? Yes.
What did you feel? I was frightened
Did you argue with the driver? Yes. Because that was my first time to encounter riding in
a vehicle with an aggressive driver.
We need to argue with the driver for him to realize that
it’s not a good deed or behavior because our safety is at
risk.

B. PRESENTATION OF THE LESSON:

Today we’re going to discuss the argumentative essay on


page 131 of your module. But before we it, do you have
an idea of an argumentative essay is? Argumentative essay is a writing piece meant to persuade
someone to think the way you do.
An argumentative essay attempts to be highly persuasive
and logical.

C. LESSON PROPER:

Now, you’re going to read a sample of argumentative


essay on page 131 – 132 of your module entitled
Aggressive driving should be avoided.
Read it silently. (Students will read silently)

On your notebook, answer task (Student will do task A. Reason out)

Class, what are the common signages you see along the
road?
Write your answers on the board.  No U-turn

Are these signages of great help? Yes.
Why do you say so? Because signages give information that could help us
prevent accident.

Signages help us prevent accident. They are of great help
to every one of us especially to the drivers.
