1 INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT 1


Adonis, as a child, is sitting in front of a TV. The film
playing is The Thin Man and the woman's voice can be heard.
TELEVISION
The next person that says 'Merry
Christmas' to me, I'll kill them.
CUT TO:

2 INT. OFFICE - DAY 2


The scene opens in the office with Bazin, Adonis, and Jim.
BAZIN
Congratulations on the promotion.
ADONIS
The next person that says
'congratulations' to me, I'll kill
them.
Adonis smiles but Bazin appears wildly confused, glancing at
Jim for clarification.
BAZIN
I beg your pardon.
Adonis' smile fades instantly.
ADONIS
What? Don't you get the reference?
Adonis glances at Jim, before looking back at Bazin.
ADONIS
Seriously?
Bazin relaxes in his chair and
BAZIN
They're promoting anyone these days.
Even ones still stuck in the 1900s.
CUT TO:

The film title and production logo are displayed, appearing


in black and white before transitioning to color.

4 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 4


A clip of Bazin smoking is played, with Adonis' voice
overlaid.
ADONIS
I don't understand why you can't
just arrest him.
CUT TO:

5 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 5


The scene cuts to Adonis' office, with his head in his hands
and Juke sitting opposite the table, looking exasperated.
JUKE
He hasn't done anything. I can't
just arrest a man because you've
decided everyone is a suspect in
your little murder theory. Hell, I'm
a minute away from being a suspect.
ADONIS
It is unnerving how someone in your
position is so calm about a threat
that was made to my life!
Juke stands up.

JUKE
Could you not yell at me?
ADONIS
Get out of my office.

As Juke leaves the office, she mutters under her breath too
quiet for Adonis to hear.

JUKE
I wish she'd kill you faster.
Juke leaves the office and closes the door. As she walks
away, an object breaking behind the door is heard.
FADE TO BLACK.

6 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 6

Jim's voice can be heard before the scene is shown.

JIM (V.O.)
I think you've lost it, Adonis.
Adonis paces around his office, purple-eyed and disheveled,
on the phone with Jim.
ADONIS
Why are you so calm? Why is everyone
just so calm? It's Bazin! Are you
hearing me? This all started because
of him!
JIM (V.O)
(sigh)
It's not Bazin, Adonis.
ADONIS
How the hell are you so sure?
JUMP CUT TO:

7 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 7


Bazin is tied to an office chair. The table is loitered with
pills and medicine. He struggles with the binds of the ropes
and to persuade the unseen predator.
BAZIN
Wait! We had a deal! Wait, wait!
A gunshot is fired.

BACK TO:

8 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 8

JIM (O.S.)
Because he's dead.

Adonis stops pacing.

FADE TO BLACK.

9 INT. BAR - NIGHT 9


Magdalena's hand is on a table, she has a blank business card
between her fingers. Blank, save for her red lipstick stain
on it.

She twitches the card up and down. The scene changes to her
repeating the same movement with a knife, now in color.

ADONIS (V.O.)
This changes everything.

Her red lips are pulled into a smirk as film noir font
screens 'This Changes Everything'.

FADE OUT.

10 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 10

Adonis stands near the window. His hands are clasped behind
his back and his posture is straight.

JIM
You know, there are a lot of people
who don't like you, Adonis.
CUT TO:

11 INT. OFFICE - DAY 11


Adonis walks through an office, with only his back visible. A
colleague waves at him as they both pass the hall. The scene
changes to the colleague glaring at Adonis' back after he has
passed.

JIM (V.O.)
The killer could be anyone.
BACK TO:

12 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 12

ADONIS
She won't be that hard to find.
Jim is silent for a few seconds before he reacts.

JIM
She?

Color restores the scene, as it ends on Adonis' determined


face.
FADE OUT.

13 INT. MAGDALENA'S ROOM - NIGHT 13

Magdalena's heels tap on the floor. She stands in front of a


mirror and adorns her hands with gloves before applying
lipstick. She smoothes her dress once before the camera pans
upwards to show her gazing at her reflection. Her voice plays
over the scene.

MAGDALENA (V.O.)
I'll remember your face.
She speaks as she continues to gaze at herself.

MAGDALENA
Adonis, Adonis.

She brings her hands up, mimicking a gun, before firing. The
screen cracks.
MAGDALENA
Bang!
CUT TO:

14 INT. BAR - NIGHT 14


The scene opens with Magdalena and Adonis at the bar. His
glass is empty, hers is full.
ADONIS
Do you have any idea who I am?

Before she can respond, Adonis receives a call.


ADONIS
Hold that thought.

As Adonis stands up to take the call, the scene focuses on


Magdalena's drumming fingers. Her hands are gloved.

Adonis returns, placing a blank business card on the table


for her. Magdalena picks it up and places a kiss on it, her
red lips staining the card.

MAGDALENA
I'll remember your face.
ADONIS
I'll try to forget yours.
The scene reveals Magdalena's full smirking face. Adonis
leaves her with a parting word.

ADONIS
Nice gloves.

FADE OUT.

15 EXT. ALLEYWAY- NIGHT 15

Juke leans against a wall, fiddling with the previous


business card with her gloved hands. Her voice is played over
the scene.

MADJA (V.O.)
The problem with putting two and two
together is that sometimes you get
four, and sometimes you get twenty-
two.
CUT TO.

16 EXT. STREET - NIGHT 16


Adonis is running, and the footfalls of his chaser are heard
only briefly before they come to a halt. Thinking he's in the
clear, Adonis takes out his cell phone to call his manager.

CUT TO:

17 INT. OFFICE - NIGHT 17

Jim lays motionless on the floor. His face is not seen but
his body pooled with blood is shown.

ADONIS (V.O.)
I know who it is!

CUT TO:

18 EXT. STREET - NIGHT 18

The scene cuts back to Adonis on the street, breathless, on


the phone.

ADONIS
Call me back as soon as you get
this.

Adonis puts away his phone, before walking to the street


looking left and right. Adonis looks to his left and is met
with the hard force of a gun to his face, knocking his head
to the side.

FADE TO BLACK.

19 INT. ABANDONED ROOM - NIGHT 19

Adonis is strapped to a chair. There is blood running down


the side of his face, but he smiles widely.

ADONIS
I knew it.

The last sound is of a gunshot before the scene ends.

FADE TO BLACK.

20 FILM TITLE 20

Money Power Glory animates onto the screen, half in color and
half in black and white. It lasts only a few seconds before
the release date and screening are shown.
