The learner understands the meaning of process of doing philosophy.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD:

The learner reflects on a concrete experience in a philosophical way.

a. Analyze a holistic perspective from a partial point of view using Venn Diagram
(Cognitive)
b. Realize the importance of holistic perspective in doing Philosophy through a
Story on Moral Dilemma (Affective)
c. Write an exit pass that contains concrete experience in doing philosophy and
using a holistic point of view. (Psychomotor).

B. MOTIVATION

1. ENTRY PASS – Write any words or concepts that you think are related to
Philosophy.
2. Watch and Discuss: Learning Activity #1 The Six Blind Men and the Elephant.

C. Lesson Proper (Presentation)

1. Let the students cite the meaning of Philosophy.


2. Ask the students, what is the moral lesson of the story? Do you see the truth in
partiality and holistically?. Explain.
3. Introduce and discuss, Holistic perspective from a partial point of view.
