C : I’m fine, thank you. How about you sir?

F ; pretty good. My name is mr. Fatur and I will be the one interviewing you today. Are you ready ?

C: yes, of course.

F : Ok. Now, please tell me about your self.

C : my name is Cahya Djati Azzahra. I’m twenty two years old. . I am a fresh graduate from Indonesia
University. I managed to graduate with cum laude and during my years there I have been active in
various campus organization. On my last year of study, I was actually assigned to be the head of the
campus news media. Other than having experiences as a reporter through my organizations, I was
also lucky enough to be able to do an internship at Suara Merdeka for 6 months.

F : Alright. Why do you want to work in our company?

C: Your company reputation is one of the factors. I would be proud to work for a company with
strong and clear vision. I also read on your website that creativity and innovation are one of your
core values and I feel that your values align with my own personal values. That’s why I’m excited to
join your company.

F : Thank you for the compliment. I see you have some experience and an insight into the real
industry during your internship. So you must understand about the tight deadlines in this line of job,
right? How do you manage to handle the stress of tight deadlines?

C : Yes, of course there is that aspect in this line of work that could affect anyone. However, through
my experience, I have found out that I am able to work best under pressure, especially under tight
deadlines. I do get stressed but it usually pushes me to be able to work at my best form and after the
deadline is finished, then I would be able to detend myself.

F : Okay. I believe you understand that one of the pressing point in this job is fighting hoax news. So,
how do you ensure that your work is accurate and fact

ual?

C : hoax news is the enemy that all of us reporters have to fight off. In doing so, I have also done this
with my campus organization, I will never send or publish a work that hasn’t been fact-checked yet.

F : Great. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

C : one of the reason I’m excited about this role is because in five years, I would like to be seen as
someone with expertise in company branding, especially in the news presenting sector. I also want
to learn as well as improve my skills and experience from a brand new environment.

F : wow, that’s a good one. Do you have any questions for me?

C : yes, I do. What is the next step and do you have any examples of projects that I would be working
on if I were to be chosen?
F : good inquiry. After your application is accepted, you will be provided with a full description of
your job that you have been chosen. But before that, we have a small test to examine your ability in
the next round in case you were qualified enough in this round. Be ready for that.
