1.Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in the month of June every year. 21st June 2020 is Father's Day
this year. Make this day special for your father and surprise him in a thoughtful manner.

Use a ruled pastel flashcard to write in not more than 100 words how you made it special for him.

MATHEMATICS:
1. Prime numbers
Prime numbers play a very important role in mathematics, since they can‟t be divided any further. They are like
the “atoms” of numbers. Eratosthenes, a Greek mathematician, found an easy way to calculate all the prime
numbers less than 100. It is called the Sieve of Eratosthenes. Explore and use it to find the prime Numbers less
than 100? You will need a grid of numbers from 1 to 100.You may use an old snake and ladder board or create
one of your own.

2. Polygon Capture
Draw and cut various polygons in different sizes and colours to make your own art piece.

3. Math Formulary / Dictionary


Ever thought of a Math Dictionary/Formulary of your own? Try making one with terms, you can explain the best
and put some formulas which you always found difficult to remember. (The terms you have learnt in Chapter 1
and 2 of Mathematics). You may choose pictures to describe them.

Find out about the oldest monuments, roads, or areas in your city, and make a multimedia presentation on the
people involved in building them. You can use the internet to find the information and pictures you need.

Please note that the presentation will be graded on basis of:

 Make a travelogue
A stupa is a Buddhist monument usually built to commemorate certain events in a Buddha‟s life, to keep
important sacred relics, and for burying the remains of monks and other saintly personalities related to
Buddhism.

There are beautiful Buddhist Stupas found not only in India but also all over the world. Make a travelogue based
on some famous Buddhist Stupas such as Great Stupa of Sanchi, Dhanek Stupa of Sarnath, Mahabodhi stupa of
Bodhgaya. You may also include Stupas found in other countries such as Japan, China, Nepal and Thailand. (at
least 3 Stupas of India & 3 of other countries)
