WHAT
My main takeaway in the modules covered during this period is that I still have a lot
to learn when it comes to qualitative research writing and reporting especially in doing
thematic analysis. One thing that I experienced and learned during reading the
materials, watching videos, attending live discussions, workshops and independent
studies is I have to go beyond my comfort zone and explore more the context of
qualitative research writing. As a result of participating in various learning activities, I
was able to assess my research capability and take responsibility for being a better
learner. Therefore, as I complete this course, I am looking forward to demonstrate the
appropriate use of thematic analysis in writing a qualitative research report.

NOW WHAT
With the learnings I gained from these activities, writing qualitative report and
appropriate use of thematic analysis will assure me that my graduate studies journey
and beyond will be in good hands. The different types of thematic analysis will be
used accordingly in my future qualitative research works as it was defined distinctively
by Braun & Clarke (2022). With my study, I will look the applicability of thematic
analysis so that I can contribute to the body of knowledge.

SO WHAT
Learning how to write qualitative report and appropriate use of thematic analysis is
very significant to me since this will help me to achieve the outcomes of the course, I
enrolled this semester. I have been so anxious and bothered because I know that I am
not that so good in writing. I have also a very low foundation in writing qualitative
report. Because of this situation, taking up lessons on effective writing qualitative
report and using thematic analysis appropriately helped me to become confident with
my journey in graduate school. Being in the graduate school, it is very essential to
have excellent writing skills because this will determine the fate of my dissertation.
